Apparently, this malware got on to my computer somehow and I'm struggling to remove it. It is in C:\Program Files\Applications.

Anyway, I managed to get it off through a System Restore.

Check if it's there again. Some malware likes to rebuild itself through whatever means.

 

Ubuntu livecd is awesome for deleting rootkits if you know where their files are though.

I spent some time deleting files off my computer after the restore. It's gone. It hasn't shown up anywhere.

 

P.S.

It was a variant of the deadly Zlob trojan.
