Posted November 13, 200816 yr Wired just did a story on the HalfLife 2 source code leak again, probably because Ago is named in a new indictment for being the author of Agobot which was used in a lot of DDoS attacks. Many of which we suffered through during that time period. While nothing really new was said in the Wired story, it did link to a PDF docment that the FBI produced on the subject. This includes lots of mention of myg0t, some of its members (mainly SourceX), as well as LCIRC (our IRC network). Again, I know this has all been covered before in much detail in the past, but this is the first time I've seen the FBI documents to back it all up. Plus it has some fun logs and emails to read. I remember the how crazy it was during that time period, between the DDoS attacks, the insane amount of people coming to our IRC channels to find out more and just all the rifks. November 16, 200816 yr ago was a computer genius but had not much common sense, we had some fun with the bot before all this shit went down, country's offline, it was fun at the time but the repercussions were hard, agobot at its time was one of the best bots around and about 3 weeks before DCOM RPC was public we were infecting more then our 30 server networks could handle, i could ddos just by pointing my dns rifk poor ago, he thought after all that gabe newell would give him a job at valve and got teh partyvan insted, and today i read the pdf containing shit about the case, pretty fucked up he ratted you out SourceX RIP agobot-dev
November 16, 200816 yr like i've always said if you are big enough to be noticed you are big enough to be arrested. i was operating during those days running sites with sx and other stuff, but tried very hard to stay under the radar. friends got raided, we stayed safe because we played id safe. glad my name is not in there. p.s. i have no remorse. my main concern was always the safety of my friends (sourcex and others). to hear they ratted him out, i have no respect for them. i thought they were a rat but had no proof until now :gaykeke:

My former domain name, dirtysolicitor.com, was the first site to have screenshots of all the source shit because I gave an ftp account to t0y, who had attained shit from Hitman. You wouldn't believe the amount of emails I got from people demanding me to give up the identity of whoever owns the domain (myself). It was fucking absurd how many kids were pissed off about HL2 being leaked. Good times. I remember lying low for a while after all of this, especially after the highly publicized inquisition into the matter by that fag... January 26, 200916 yr The kid was book smart, just not very wise. Thanks for the update on this. Most of it is the same as you said, but there is some juicy new stuff too. (at least new to me). I was still with UnknownCheats at the time, and our contact with you guys was minimal except for occasionally trying to smooth out problems caused by "hack stealing" that went on previously. I didn't realize just how many of you guys he tried to bring into it/bring down with him. I guess he was just clutching at anything at the end there, hoping to get as much heat off of himself as possible.
