i keep getting fault addresses like 0x348000 ...etc. whenever I play my newly installed game Bully. I'm only running on a gig of ram which is the minimum requirement...I'm guessing putting more ram into the system will stop the crashes? But just want a confirmation.

Did you even looks this up on their forum or google?

It's the new earthquake virus, the only way to get rid of it is a full format then buy a new CPU fan and maybe a new case, its been known to spread to different hardware.

You're even dumber than he is.

I googled the memory addresses but couldn't find anything relevant...but I noticed the game lagged a little bit and would crash...some useful information would be helpful.

Post a screenshot or some exact details of the whoop dang error message.

This : 0x348000

='s

1 ST_AVERAGE_HISTOGRAM (Address range: 0x348000– 0x349800) –ram36

RAM Description: Histogram of the first iteration average in LCMS algorithm, for each 32 strip cms one histogram space of 64 words is reserved

  • Histo Counters
  • Average histogram
  • Size is 1536 word = 6144 byte
  • R = Read Only; W = Write; R/W = Read/Write; N = Not exist;

From what I have found it can be from a color management engine.

Its most likely due to a missing image of some sort in the game you're playing. Is it a pirated game?

If you want to get this fixed I can tell you right now that you'll have to re-install your operating system at least once before you actually get anything done to your hardware. Adding ram will not fix this issue. Replacing it might, however if the error is software this will just happen again.

and : I can be completely wrong in every way about this, because memory errors aren't always from your operating system or the software being used. It can always be from some obscure bullshit program running at that instance that conflicts with a current operation.

now fuck off and get some real help

okay update on the error messages...I've played them on different days and each time it crashes it gives a different memory error ... I'm guessing one reason is I don't have requirements? My graphics card is a 7800 gtx and is just fine... I only have about 1GB of DDR2 which is the minimum requirement...about the processor it recommends a P4 of 3+ GHz or more...how does that pertain to a dual-core ? I have a Pentium D 2.66 ...

Okay here's memory errors I browsed through:

0X0033a986

0X004872ad

0X00018fea

0X0034868b

0X004872ad

I googled and used microsoft.com and I'm not finding anything. I wanna make sure I've exhausted all my options before I add a little more RAM in there or change my CPU. Also, how do I check the model of my motherboard?

You have a/ lemon stick(s) of ram. Try other ram then come back.

Don't post again until you've tried with new ram.

My guess is that the game is poorly coded and optimized. This is the case with most PC games nowaways, thanks to the advent of consoles. Why would you want to play Bully anyway? Rockstar sucks big balls.
