Intel T2050 @1.60GHz (Dual Core)

798 MHz, 1.00 GB of RAM

250 GB, USB HDD

80 GB onboard HDD

NVIDIA Ge Force Go 7600

DVD/CD-R Drive

Basically nothing special but it does the job, I can watch 1080i movies so therefore I am happy.

And for gaming I use my X Box 360.

you are just dumb.

Actually, almost every game will give you a very minimal increase in FPS with 1GB of frame buffer (video memory). It's like a quad core: games can't fully utilize it yet.

You're looking at benchmarks right?

Games will just run smoother because the read/write/dump of memory will happen a slower and smaller intervals compared to the total memory.

The benchmarks you're looking at are statistical analysis' of many fps counts at high rates. When fps drops to 30 from 250 because of loading times, and memory or overflow, this is considered an statistical anomaly and it is disregarded when the totals are calculated.

Meaning : When the final data is shown, it usually does not show how "smooth" the game fps(game play) was and is during the sequence. That's why Nvidia still gets good scores and fans. Most people do not know anything about statistics and how they are calculated. This may not be true for all benchmarking tools, but it is 90% of the time.

I had already known that Nvidia cheats with their benchmarks and that they're total shit, but thanks for explaining the benchmarking process.

I didn't read this from an article. Its statistical analysis from school, you should have learned this while in high school.

Go and read a book on calculating statistics or even just ask a math teacher you know(or have known in the past) and they will tell you that anomalies are dropped when statistics are calculated. They are also dropped when fps goes from 250 to 600 all of a sudden because of a simpler view angle or when less objects are being generated.

When having more memory the system will run smoother over time because not all the memory modules will be full at any time(this is the desired effect and not always true), this will allow the memory to be dumped and rewritten(*) to an empty module at the same time without the unwanted wait times.

*Memory is not written, it is a floating bit stored in a looping gate. If you don't know how the RAM works just find a wiki article on it and find out about the "floating" type memory.

You are correct, I just had a brain fart or something because I didn't understand what you said.

Sure, call me dumb instead of doing what Myriad did: explaining how it helps.

2 different sized monitors and a huge gap between them.

Would be ok for normal web browsing, but for gaming, it looks like shit.
