I had already known that Nvidia cheats with their benchmarks and that they're total shit, but thanks for explaining the benchmarking process.

When having more memory the system will run smoother over time because not all the memory modules will be full at any time(this is the desired effect and not always true), this will allow the memory to be dumped and rewritten(*) to an empty module at the same time without the unwanted wait times. *Memory is not written, it is a floating bit stored in a looping gate. If you don't know how the RAM works just find a wiki article on it and find out about the "floating" type memory.
