Posted December 19, 200816 yr I idle this network regularly at college and came home for winter break on my desktop and typed the usual, "/server irc.lcirc.net" and for some reason every time it would just sit at Connecting.. for hours and never connect. I went to lcirc.net and looked at the "servers" and attempted to connect to this one "/server Tetchy.lcirc.net" and it actually worked. I was relieved this had finally worked and was about to change my nick and join the channels I regularly idle, when all of a sudden I see, "Closing Link: nivel[ipMY-IP-HERE.dc.dc.cox.net] (User has been permanently banned from LCIRC (bot))" Not sure why I would get banned, I am not a bot. I have no problems connecting to other IRC networks as well. I emailed [email protected] but got some weird automated response that told me nothing. Thanks for any help. -numb
