December 30, 200816 yr Author UPDATE: I've now OC'd my 5000+ from 2.6GHz to 2.8GHz with no voltage changes and on stock cooling. Temps are fine, and I'll see if I can get it to 3. My GPU has also been OC'd from 750/1000 to 800/1100.

I don't know why you insist on bashing my rig when it pulls of everything I throw at it (including Clear Sky, which is a fucking hog, although I haven't tried GTA4 yet). The Project Origin demo ran fine at max settings (2x or 4xAA, can't remember). Far Cry 2 runs on mostly high settings at my native resolution (1440x900), and runs without a hitch. TF2, although, has the occasional lag. I don't know why, since Crysis has no problem on my PC. For the most part, though, TF2 has satisfying performance. All the other Source games have nothing on my 4670. Fallout 3 is also nothing for this card. I run it at 1280x800 at all high settings, with AA on. Almost constantly 60 frames per second. I know I went a little Jewish with this rig, but I don't read any guides. I just analyze benchmarks and evaluate the cost vs. performance gain. There's no reason to run everything on max. If I wanted to, I would've spent $800+ on this rig. A dual core overclocked to 3GHz does everything fast and fine. 2GB of 4-4-4-15 timings helps even more, and is more overclockable. The HD4670's performance is practically that of the HD3870, which is no slouch by any means. Your rig may be damn good, but that gives you no good reason to flame other rigs that are capable of running all the latest games fine, such as mine. Lemme criticize your rig (albeit not much to): Oh, and you bought an ASUS board. Have fun when it dies out on you soon, being that you're using an older model with shittier capacitors, and overall just bad reliability. I wouldn't trust ASUS on the AMD platform. Your case is still ugly. 1GB of video memory is excessive, and a 550W Corsair would be more than enough for what you have. 650W is overkill. I am officially disregarding all computer advice that you churn out, as I only see it as a blatant attempt to enrage me. If you don't want to be helpful, cool. Flame away.
