operating systems are one thing I don't mind spending the money on. I mean newegg has vista for like $79...that's $20-30 more than a game, it's not like cs4 that costs $2,500.

I tried using my old xp sp2 copy that I've been using for my computers between their deaths (I always get used computers/laptops) and put it on them, but it seems as though I've run out of uses for my license and the people at Microsoft don't believe me when I tell them that the computers I've licensed it on are no longer working... So I pirated it.

I mean, I own a legal copy, but they make it too hard to use my legal copy anymore.

yea because its in beta right now malum.

vista is the only operating system that i have spent money on, and boy am i sorry i ever did. i will no longer be paying for shit from microsoft because they are a bunch of :nigga:'s

I used my friend's XP copy, and tried using an Anti-WPA crack to get around activation. Didn't work, so now I need a new copy :\

EDIT: I fiddled around with the registry editor and now I could activate Windows (for some reason it didn't ask for my serial key).

It doesn't work, and AVG detects it as a threat.

Does work, false detection.

Jedi Pimp;606695']This is a Trojan horse. It can be used by other users to steal passwords, personal documents or to deploy viruses on your system via the internet.

Advice - Remove antiwpa.dll immidiatley from your system

ANTIWPA.DLL has been seen to perform the following behavior:

* Adds a Winlogon Notification DLL to automatically load on system start up

* Registers a Dynamic Link Libray (DLL) File

* This Process Deletes Other Processes From Disk

* This process creates other processes on disk

i have never payed one cent to MicroSoft. I have never bought any of their OS's or games...only hacked versions.

Microsoft has enough money...they don't need my money.

i use that cracked french xp sp2 that never asks you for a serial and you just have to change the regional info after you finish the install
