February 13, 200916 yr FOR A STARTER CAR I SAID KK lol w/e first cars are always a little iffy, at least its a benz nontheless even if it looks like a mini mini mini van
February 13, 200916 yr FOR A STARTER CAR I SAID KK If it gets your from A to B, then it is a good first car. If it does so comfortably then that is a bonus, and if it is new then that is a MAJOR bonus because you don't have to keep fixing it. My first 3 cars were all cheap pieces of shit just to get me around. My parents old Chrysler van, then a Buick that leaked oil(among 1000 other problems) like it was raining, then a Geo Prism. The van was 10 years old, and the buick and geo were almost 20. It took me a long time to learn how to save money. Through high school I spent money faster than I could earn it. I still spend money like it is going out of style, and mostly on my ride, but I am smart enough to save now. (so that I can spend it on my ride at a later date, lol)
February 13, 200916 yr Everyone who does not post a german vehicle has clearly no idea when it comes to cars.
February 13, 200916 yr DerKaiser;610512']Everyone who does not post a german vehicle has clearly no idea when it comes to cars. Or they like to save money and not waste it when something small has to be fixed. Example: We turned down fixing an Audi that had a thermostat out (v6). Simple right? Well on every other car it is. This said 3.5 hrs and you have to take off the whole front bumper and move the radiator/ac condenser. But then you read on and it says you need to actually take off the timing belt to get to the damn thing, which is a 6 hr job. Kid said he found someone who would do it for the 3.5 hr pay, but charged more per hour. We gladly let that one go out the door.

February 13, 200916 yr A buddy of mine said these make a great vehicle. 2 miles to the gallon and all the armor plating you want. http://www.peachmountain.com/5Star/images/AberdeenProvingGrounds/20060509_2164_NSengupta_AberdeenProvingGroundss.jpg
February 13, 200916 yr yea...like Opter said ..You can go coocoo nuts with a Turbo system and get over 700 WHP on my regal...but the tranny would blow up (gaskets would spawn leaks everywhere). Some people go under 3 inches on their pulleys but then you're always in boost when ever your driving around town unless your coasting down a hill...lol I remember in 1987 the Grand National was THE car to own. It was the fastest production car made in America at the time, beating out Corvette hands down. I've seen GNs pulling trap speeds of 156 mph in the 1/4 mile. sick sick cars.
February 13, 200916 yr buy what you want. Focus is a decent car, it's a "new, and hip" model I guess you could call it. Toyota is making a decent car at the moment, just keep the oil and shit changed in it, and it shouldn't fuck up on you. Also, Saturn is a fairly decent option, they do burn oil, but they produce decent stuff, even though it's all fucking GM. I own two cars, a 1995 Saturn SC2 (Fuck yeah 4 banger) I also own a 1970 Camaro with a 396 in it. I used to own a 1986 Buick Regal, shit would haul ass. Edited February 13, 200916 yr by Helldvr
