Posted February 19, 200916 yr I'm paying my drums off right now which is right around 3000 bucks. So i am draining my funds to pay them off fast but what happened was the payment was delayed in going through which was how this all came about. "You guys charged me 15 for overdraft protection fee which then brought me too far down on my checking account so it then overdraft by 63 cents. When this happened you charged me another 36 dollars for overdraft fee. If you had not charged me this over draft protection fee ( which by the looks of it did nothing except force me to over draft BY 63 CENTS ) I wouldn't have over drawn in the first place. Now I know the economy is bad, but don't you think this is excessive? Lets take a moment and use some common sense here. Bare with me it might hurt a little. If I am running low on cash why would you charge me because I had no cash, if i had no cash. I'll give you a moment to read that again... Back? lets continue. Since Barrack is in office I thought you guys were going to be loosening up on fee's and restrictions. But to charge me 36 dollars for over drafting 63 cents after you charged me 15 for something that didn't even do anything? I'm sort of glad this happened because now I will be looking for a different bank. A bank that maybe gives a shit about there customers. Is that too much to ask? Also I have a question for you while you still are my bank, where did whoever is running this place go to business school? I ask this because I too would like to learn about the ways of poor business practice, but to actually make a profit. I will be terminating this account if these fee's are not taken care of. It wasn't my fault that my account over drafted in the first place. It will take a few minutes of review to see that this is the truth." p.s. its not copypasta my bank is national city. and there overdraft protection is a joke. it was such bullshit you have no idea.
February 19, 200916 yr If you're expecting them to help, talking to them like that probably won't help. P.S. I hope your kit resembles this: http://www.chris-watson.com/gear_gallery/gear_gallery1/images/Mike%20Portnoy,%20Dream%20Theater_his%20kit!%20In%20here%20only%20because%20it%20makes%20me%20smile!_jpg.jpg or http://www.tama.com/artists/featured/images/header_mike-portnoy2.jpg or especially this: http://www.musicplayers.com/features/drums/2007/images/Portnoy_Kit_front.jpg

Yuo should avoid having an overdraft anyway.. make your own, have some money that you never touch in your bank account.. takes a little effort to not spend it but hey... Gotta admit though, thats a pretty bullshit situation...

Well thought out and well said but the spelling and grammar errors detract from it. I'd say that since spellcheck and being a little more careful could have avoided this that I give you an 85/100. In the future I advise you to do a bit of proofreading at the end and be sure it's all good so that you can bring this 85 up to a 95 or even a 100.
February 19, 200916 yr those drums sets are nice and all but try gigging every weekend with those sets. you have to lug that shit around and set all that shit up and only then if there is enough room on stage depending where you are playing at. good for studio sets. gigging?? ...no
February 19, 200916 yr they wont give a shit about you switching banks because im guessing you dont have $250,000+ in the bank.

February 19, 200916 yr You should send them an email if you didn't send that one, or better yet go into the bank. Most banks are understanding when it comes to stuff like this, especially if you have been a customer for a while. I used to overdraft sometimes with my Bank of America account a long time ago. I would just go into the bank and explain why and they would wave the fee. I've never actually paid an overdraft fee. If what you wrote is true, and you already had the payment in place, and they caused it to go under because of the over draft fee then talk to them about it. They will either wave the whole thing(depends on your standing with the bank), or they will wave the $36 OD Fee, because the reason you pay for overdraft protection is so you can explain an overdraft and have them not charge you for it. That's what overdraft protection is. I would just go in, or write them an email explaining the situation. You paid that $15 to partake in the banks overdraft protection, which allows them to wave your fees if you talk to them about it.

They have lorries and shit.
February 19, 200916 yr Go to the bank and try to get them to reverse the dam fees instead of getting all raged at them. They most likely will reverse them.
February 19, 200916 yr Author http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/2708/1235081736868hh8.gif win. Yea spork I wrote it really fast because i was pissed. next time ill shoot for a 90! buttplug the star classic maple drums are actually thinner and weigh less then normal drums so they are easier to haul and i only have a 6 piece kit with a double pedal to cut down on the moving shit. and yes im going in tomorrow to get the fee reversed ( hopefully )

February 20, 200916 yr ok so when you buy a car you pay cash? rofl gg No, you get a loan. Only an idiot (see: noob irl) would drain his bank account funds below 0 for a drumset. You should learn how to balance a checkbook before you start wasting your money on toys.
