BUT they get to CHOOSE what they want it to go towards, health care, roads, libraries, military etc. This way When you file your taxes you know what it's going towards and also Democracy means, "People power." This is like democracy taxes. Also let's say in a certain city, the police are acting retarted, well the people in that city can choose not to pay towards police next time, then the police will get less money and be encouraged to do their job properly.
