Posted March 3, 200916 yr I have envisioned an idea that, if implemented, will increase the number of active accounts on this forum. Have a field in the registration process that is labeled: "Referred by?" The new registrant will then type the person who told them to join the myg0t forums in this field. For example, if I told Bob Humblefield to join he would put in his User name as BHumble, his password as humblefield1, and his referral as John_Winthrop. In turn, there will be great heaping rewards for the referrer. For referring Bob Humblefield, I would receive anywhere from 1 to 100 referral points, depending on how often Bob posts, how often he logs in, if he spams or not, and his reputation. I can then use these referral points to purchase cool things for my myg0t account. Some ideas are: custom emoticons, increased PM box, increased amount of images that can be posted, POP email accounts @myg0t.com, etc, and much much more! So, what do you all think? What could be improved here?
