March 6, 200916 yr just got back from it, i thought it was a decent movie. about an hour too long, though. i enjoyed the fight scenes. the gorey effects made it feel like it wasn't a superhero movie. i agree, the ending was a big fuck up though. but then again this movie wasn't meant to be a happy cheery movie like Spider-Man with the happy ending. thats how i look at it. i'll watch it again when it comes to DVD.

March 7, 200916 yr I honestly have no clue what this movie is about other than that its a group of superheroes. There are too many superhero movies and they are all horrible. Even the Dark Knight was awful. The joker was entertaining but the rest of it was garbage. Iron Man, Hulk, X-Men, Spiderman; my friend dragged me to all of these and I could barely sit through the whole of them. They try to combine cheesy love or drama plots with the age old hero formula that's been around since Ancient Greece and beyond. It really shows the lack of creativity coming out of Hollywood. Let's take a story that's already been written, combine it with typical drama bullshit that's nothing out of the ordinary compared to an episode of Gray's Anatomy, and add tiring special effects that just confuse you and give you a headache. You're getting scammed out of your money. Do not pay anymore money to see superhero movies. Tell them we've had enough!

Still, I kind of got what I wanted and didn't want... the bad guy wins because his plan actually makes sense...but at the expense of millions of people which is total bullshit. I guess I left the theater with ambivalent feelings.
