Outside of the US I don't think the links are viewable, I'm sorry.

There is a longer history on this with videos prior to this interview. It is sad that it takes a comedy news show to actually bring to light the real problems and say the shit that needs to be said. The banks and wallstreet destroyed the economy and knowingly did so out of greed. All the bullshit spin they put on it being a "bubble that popped" and how unexpected it was is such complete bullshit, they knew it was going to happen, they knew the whole thing was flawed from the start and they all did it to get rich and take the money and run once it blew up.

After watching this, I really have to wonder if Jim Cramer's show won't be canceled in the next few month. This takes me back to when Jon destoryed Tucker Carlson and his show Crossfire was cancled shortly afterwards.

This

I watched that last night laughing at how the guy couldn't even defend himself and wondering why it took Jon fucking Stewart to say something about shit going down like this. His job is to make fun of everyone else and make me giggle late at night when im kinda high. Not be some hardcore reporter showing people how shitty a situation is.
I watched this last night too, Cramer did not say anything to defend himself. I loved how stewart made it clear that cramer's advice is shit

Wow, I had no idea this was even going on. I'm just glad I don't have any money in the market right now and have a steady job...

I don't think it's sad that it takes a comedy station to reveal this, I mean Jon Stewart and Jim have hated each other for a long time I thought. It was only a matter of time before Jon found something that he could nail Cramer on.

Because he can't. There is no way to defend yourself against video proof that you've broken the law. Giving advice to someone on how to manipulate the market for your own personal use...WHAT THE FUCK.

Cramer should not only lose his job, but he himself be brought up on charges. Specially considering he even admits himself he's in contact with all these huge company CEOs...whats to say he isn't in all of their pockets helping their companies out?

my biggest thing is that investments are a gamble and people are always going to find some way to manipulate shit, so why should everyone be surprised about this?

Think you missed the point of Jon pointing out that clearly CNBC worked on behalf of the corporations/banks who stocks they pumped and not the people who they claim the network is there to help. CNBC's finicial "experts" as they claim to be could of been reporting the actual risks these investment banks were taking. This would be things people investing in the stock market would need and like to know.

These banks continued to increase their leverage ratios to make more money for executive bonuses before the bubble burst. Go look at a chart of leverage ratios for the last 5 years and see how these investment banks who failed kept increasing the ratio uptill the failure point. These are numbers CNBC could of been reporting on to show the true dangers in what they were doing.

But banks are businesses and you milk it until it pops. if you're at the casino and are winning big, most people will stay and keep playing and most will end up back where they started. only the smart people get out while they are a head.

but i agree with OMP on this though. only because cnbc claimed to be THE fiscally responsible network.

Wow, I just got done watching all this and wow I'm impressed once again with Jon Stewart's work. I love Jon for doing this.
After the show Cramer was probably like "FUCK why did I agree to come on"

kik, I'm pretty sure he was thinking that after the first time jon yelled PLAY CLIP!

I love this thing, normally he just makes jokes and do such and invites some other guy on the program and Jim Cramer is expecting a good old time and got burned hardcore, totally ambushed, not saying that he did not deserve it but god thats awesome

like, making jokes is all good and fun when we are high, but now its serious time bitch

i love that show, i watch Lou Dobbs usually though, and I'm under 40 years old, go figure.

Cramer is a tool, so is government we're so corrupt with the monetary system. Rely on waste of objects just so companies can make money no companies think long term for the benefit of society. That is why we are destroying the environment because we rely on debt and waste something that cant go on forever we need revolution and need it now from myg0t. Government is corrupt with wall street corporate America we dont live in a democracy it is a giant lie what voice do i have to elect some faggot to say what supposibly i think and the people. Everyone works to get reelcted, no one cares our system the world system is corrupt its time for revolution fuck BIG GOVERNMENT!!!
Jim was good when the stocks were good. Thats why people listened. Personally it would not matter who you invested in. You were going to lose money.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be."

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation then by deflation, the banks and the corporations will grow up around them, will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies."

"I wish it were possible to obtain a single amendment to our constitution - taking from the federal government their power of borrowing."

Did you ever see the episode of Crossfire when Frank Zappa came on the show to talk about his music and music in general? fucking great.

Frank Zappa - "They're just words"

After examining the situation, I concluded that Mr. Cramer's show is not in jeopardy. Jon wants Cramer to change the entire format of his show, from entertainment and a basic overview of the market, to a deep and thorough investigative report. Cramer simply did not care that much about the truth and got bankers and CEOs on his show who would lie unbeknownst to him. Stewart's plea is that Cramer not take whatever thoese CEOs say as truth and cross examine them until they break down. Overall I felt Jon was quite rude, especially when he said "f-ck".
anyone who listens to a fucking tv for advice should be shot in the head

Man, even Cramer was wrong in 'Iron Man'.

Who believes anything they see on t.v. Question everything

gg jon

Thanks

your banks should follow our banking system, Canada's banks are rated the soundest in the world. We are not the biggest but damn well the safest.

And actually I want to thank your banks lol they have created a huge market for opportunity here. All I have to do is wait. There are some really under-valued stocks right now.

Also to who ever said, Investing is gambling, i don't think you understand it very well.

Investing is NOT Gambling, Speculating IS. Read, "The intelligent investor" by Benjamin Graham. He taught warren buffet investing and he's the richest man in the world lol through investing.
