Posted March 20, 200916 yr The secretive Internet filter blacklist held by the communications watchdog Australian Communications and Media Authority has been leaked, revealing the government has understated the amount of banned Web pages by more than 1000. Many legitimate businesses and Web sites have been banned including online poker sites, multiple Wikipedia entries, and Google and Yahoo group pages. This was leaked and posted on http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Leaked_Australian_blacklist_reveals_banned_sites which is down currently, probably due to high demand to the site. A Torrent with the list can be found here. Good Job Aussie Government on giving these websites more advertisement then they could ever buy with this failed attempt at censorship. March 21, 200916 yr rifk they blocked some shock sites I didnt vote in the current bunch of fags Im pretty sure obama is inot censorship as well or his jewish masters.
March 21, 200916 yr I love how a lot of the sites don't even work anymore. They did block 4chan's /b/ board at its imgboard.hml url. They even blocked topics on forums and regular porn sites. Now that we can all see what this blacklist really does, which is basically nothing, it really goes to show how idiotic this whole thing is. I'm so damn thankful I don't live in Ausfailia. I mean just look at what other country censors the internet, China, which is well known for its human rights violations and many many problems.
March 22, 200916 yr more than half dont even work IE: * http://cpmaster.info * http://classic-cp.info * http://illegalbody.com
March 24, 200916 yr Censorship is futile. People should be given maximum liberties, which is why I am a Libertarian. Who else shares views similar to these?

March 26, 200916 yr In both Germany and the UK the censorship is optional with some ISP's. The only countries that enforce it at the ISP level are China and faggot muslim countries. Edited March 26, 200916 yr by flarblin

April 5, 200916 yr i didnt know you could build computers out of kangaroos and tumbleweeds we don't make computers out of kangaroos, we ride around on them, they're our main source of transport, fuck cars :gaysex2:
June 3, 200915 yr I'm aware this topic is pretty old right now but I noticed a lot of you (including knob jockey) didn't realize this 'leaked' list was fake and has been confirmed as a fake on national television. There is indeed apparently an internet censorship program being planned at the moment for Australians though as I've told multiple other Australians it is extremely unlikely it will ever actually be in effect as there would be to many ways around it.
