Posted March 23, 200916 yr ok so i plan on selling my xbox 360 for various reasons, i'm thinking if i include everything i could get $400 or so. i am looking to upgrade my motherboard due to the fact that it is a pretty bad motherboard (various reasons, i will give the name of it if needed), sometimes it only identifies 2 GB of ram when it is supposed to recognize up to 4 GB and the fact that it doesn't support PCI-E 16x 2.0, just 1.0. and i can't overclock with this motherboard which isn't TOO big of a deal, but i wouldn't mind it if i could. so anyway, i am looking for a motherboard, video card, and a PSU. for the motherboard, i am looking for one that supports PC2-5300 so i don't have to upgrade my RAM but possibly buy another 2 GB or more. also, i don't know much about processors but my current is Socket AM2 and i don't really think i need to upgrade it right now so i need a mobo that supports that. my price range is $200-300 and i'm not looking for anything top of the line, just a decent card that will play anything released currently. PSU doesn't matter, just like 600W or so since i have 300W right now. but yeah like i said, mainly i need a good motherboard that supports the newest PCI-E 16x slot aswell as PC2-5300 ram. leave some Newegg links to the products that you find if you can. i don't know much about looking for motherboards or PSU which is why this needed to be posted.
