Posted March 23, 200916 yr Many of the games/applications i use require port forwarding to perform correctly. I find that my local IP keeps changing, possibly from the modem randomly restarting, almost everyday. Im forced to manually go into my router settings and edit the last 3 digits to keep them up to date. is there anyway to stop the IP from switching, or to have the router switch the numbers itself or something like that? Just something that has been annoying me recently. By the way im on an oldschool games binge lately. im currectly playing Super Streetfighter 2 Turbo on GGPO: http://www.ggpo.net and Starcraft on iccup: http://www.iccup.com if anyone is interested in matches on either of these let me know.
