If we keep the media industry unchecked by paying for everything they throw up, then they will lose all standards of quality. They will produce absolute rubbish knowing that the public will pay them anyway because there would be no other way to preview the material. Pirating is a good way to weed out the good from the bad. If you download something that you really enjoy and thought was well made, then I encourage you to purchase it. But if there is something that is just OK, then don't waste your money.
