My computer should be fast enough to run CSS in VMWare without problems. Since the memory is separate, could I use a simple program like SpeederXP from within my native windows to effectively speedhack in vmware?

It's just a software clock adjustment. Works great in source but I'm SURE that it's VAC detected. Since supposedly vac does not ban for "glitchy hardware" I think that the VMWare box would show up as a borked mobo

Now that I think about it VAC detects VMWare and used to ban for it even, so probably anything amiss at all in VMWare would be a ban.
