Anyone here weight lift?

I started about 2 months ago, bulking.

I was 140 when i started, now im 146. Im going to reach 180, then cut down to 170.

Anyone ever used that Iron Gym thing for pull ups?

Does it work well?

Lol, "Bulking?" "Cutting?" "Iron Gym?"

Bodybuilding is lame, and you seem to fall for infomercial fads.

My stats...

Height: 6'1

Weight: 204

Max Bench: 305

Incline: 245

Decline: 335

Squat: 435

Deadlift: 505

I lift for strength, but pretty soon, I'm going to start doing hardcore cardio for beach season.

Working out is a natural high. I love it.

i only pump beer motherfuckers

j3bus,

all you have to do is train hard and stick to a proper diet, depending what you want to do with your body.

do you have a gym membership or anything ?

lmao 6 pounds in 2 months is horrible if your bulking, you should be eating around 3500 - 4000 calories a day depending how hard your training

right now i'm around 235lbs, 6' and my bfp (body fat percentage) is about 12%

I would eventually like to reach about 260lbs with under 10% body fat

I use the iron gym it's easy and fun. I'm not really into working out. I like to fuck girls. That's my workout.

im more into muscle toning than muscle building as i have those allready

Toning is a word used by unknowledgeable girls and faggots.

Please, please don't ever say that word again.

Yea, good well toned muscles are way better than BIG MCHUGELARGE and his BEEFCAKE body. No one should take fitness to such an extreme like that.

ladies love well toned bodies, instead of bunchy muscleheads bunchy muscles look poorly, learn from the master

I bought the iron gym in December, been using it ever since. It works well if you stick with it.

just buy some rubber bands or dumb bells and download P90X... watch it and do the exercises and in 90 days you'll be golden

Lol that's probably one of the gayest things I have ever heard.

All you need to do is bench, squats and deadlifts

Also abs are great

running is good for cardio

You can buy protein powder with espresso in it but I do not recommend this

EXPRESSO??? wtf

used to be a absolute gym rat, did steroids in last year of highschool up till 2nd year of college. since then been going to the gym legit 4-5 days a week. ive seen loss of mass, but im definitely much more 'cut' surprisingly

couple of basic tips:

use exercises that are 'oldschool' and require more than one primary muscle to do (especially if your skinny)aka squats, deadlifts<best, chinups, military press, dips, etc.

also remember if your going to workout like mad on your chest one day, dont make rookie mistakes like going in the next day and working out your triceps. make your exercise regime so that primary/secondary muscles dont get in eachothers way, over training your body is the worst thing people unknowingly do in the gym.

what you put in your body is 80% of the work.

10 glasses of water a day, multivitamin/fish oil, 8 hours sleep, 6-7 Healthy meals a day, oatmeal for breakfast, i wouldn't even bother with creatine until you really know what your doing in the gym and start getting serious, it will just waste your money.

dont listen to all the magazines and follow other peoples exercises because your too lazy, the only true way to workout with perfect results is by listening to your body and reacting with it. like if your a skinny guy, dont just skip out on cardio because your afraid of losing calories, if your intake is 3k (which it better be if your in the gym) you will adapt fine.

if your not going to make your body a lifestlye, or going to half ass the work and quit after a couple of months of going, don't even bother attempting it in the first place, but goodluck bro hope you see some results soon
