just speak clearly and smile, it is what you should be doing while you are working so make it look natural. don't be some weird awkward faggot like minkey.

I'm actually quite good at interviews even though im kind of shy around people I don't know.

When they ask you what qualities you dont like in yourself, answer with a positive negative.

Question: What don't you like about yourself/What skills do you need to work on?

You: I have a tendency to get frusterated when I have to work with people who aren't working as hard as me.

Always answer with something that you think is bad about yourself, but turn it around so its something positive.. as I stated above.

Interviewing with someone at Best Buy should be easy. A place like that the interviewer is most likely going to give the job to someone they relate the best to. Since it isnt a greatest job in the world. Pretty much just smile, and talk with the person about things outside of the job.

+rep if i can, unless i already repped you.

This is my first interview, since I'm only 17, so I'm pretty nervous. I was looking for a good answer for that question you posted, and it seems I definitely will use that answer. I'm just nervous about the psychological questions that like fucking twist your mind.

Any other tips & answers.

also, thanks slayer. +rep for you too, if i can.

There wont be any tough psychological questions. Remember its Best Buy. They are used to shitty co-workers. Remember, these people don't know you personally so you can always make up shit and lie. I remember when I first got an interview at Applebees..it was a 3 part interview with like a 350 question personality test and I lied my ass off on the test and in the interview. After I got to know my boss and the managers we joked about how much I lied and they were like yeah..We pretty much just hier people that seem like they would do a good job and would be fun to be around...

I actually worked for a BB back in the day. I did exactly this and I got the job pretty easy. One of the questions they asked me was "Imagine that you're trying to explain to your old dearest grandma about how to tell her that her hard drive is fried and that she needs to replace it with another one from our store"

I used a analogy with a pie, saying that if one part of a pie is bad you have to throw the whole thing out and get a new one to enjoy what's on the pie. They laughed and said they hadn't heard it before. :P

+1

I've always been asked that question in interviews. Have a good answer already in mind.

Worked there previously in college. Be confident, but polite and answer questions accurately/truthfully without long drawn out spouts. NEVER take the minimum pay (or whatever they offer). Started out $2/hr higher than the guys working there for 3+ months. Refer to customers as "guests".

When and if you do start working there, be a fucking asshole to the cocky faggots in the A/V 'cause they think they are the shit, and pussy out on every bit of work. Car audio/PC/Networking is where it's at.

Also, BB marks up their shit on Car Audio 50%, so employee discounts in that area can't be beat. Oh, and the gay guy in the yellow security shirt who says "Hi!" when you walk in, has control of all the cameras, so you can always snoop and look at tits. Lots of fun with that.
