Posted June 13, 200915 yr apple just dropped the regular 3g iphone to 99 bucks with new contract and released the 3g at 16 gig for 200 and 32 for 300. double the ram / faster processor etc. any one going to pick one up? the new ones come out next friday. i pre-ordered a 32 gig white one. with the new software update its finally worth it to grab one of these, they aren't locked down as much and you can always jail break them too

June 13, 200915 yr the iphones aren't so bad, they're lots of fun and useful for busy people. that said, they were too fucking expensive when they first came out, and now they're at the price they should have been since the fucking start. i'd get one if apple stopped being gay, dropped the price and started selling them through other carriers.

If the iPhone was sold for Verizon, I would get it in a matter of minutes it takes me to drive to a Verizon store.

Apple is not in charge of whether or not it's put out on other carriers yet. AT&T signed an exclusivity deal with AT&T when the iPhone came out. Verizon was actually offered by Apple first and Verizon turned them down - bet they're kicking themselves in the shins for that one. I'm quite happy with my winmo SCH-i760 that I just got though - I've borrowed and used my friends' iPhones and they just seem like too much of a toy than to be taken seriously.

June 14, 200915 yr Author i have had 3 windows mobile phones 1 sprint mogul, and 2 moto q 9c's. both huge pieces of nigger shit. slow, memory leak problems etc. i just want a simple phone that i can replace my laptop on the road and not have shitty hardware that doesn't last me more than a year. and there is 3rd party support like no other for this thing. and ill have 32 gigs of storage too. plus if anyone cares the 3g is 99 bucks with 2 year contract, not bad
