How many people do you think own a diesel pickup truck in the world? yea thats right, next to none. Are pickup trucks a convenient method of transportation? no. Will millions of families go out and buy huge pickup trucks? no. I see more 18 wheelers with big scarey diesel engines on the highway than I see pickup trucks, do you suppose we get rid of them because they're big and scary?

With the new next gen hybrids coming out next year this shit will be a non issue. Oh yea, thank the Canadians for the Hybrid technology because they're the world's #1 leaders in alternative fuel R&D.

Up in the North East where I live you see way more big ass trucks than the oh so common FULL sized SUV which both usually have the same engines. And the Diesels are popular too for the power and fuel savings.

Please note that global warming is the one always thrown out here. Global warming has not been traced back to human activities. Earth follows cycles in which it goes from ice age to what it is now. Any cooling of the planet can be attributed to this (yes, this is that lame excuse from Day After Tomorrow because it is a reality even though they took it to the extreme) because we don't have information from the last ice age to say it wasn't he exact same. Automatically blaming this shit on humans is a dumb idea.

 

If you pay attention to the area of global warming, you would know that a new study has shown that the Earthshine has increased. What this implies for all you global warming freaks is that the planet is absorbing more sunlight, which would, of course, increase the global temperature.

 

Once again, Earth follows cycles and global warming is bullshit made up by idiots to make people feel bad for being human.
