June 12, 200420 yr if it came out in 2003 when it was meant to, it would have been awesome, but by the time it comes out every fucking game will look as good as it. When i first saw the e3 demo with the havok physics i was so damn impressed. Half a year later when i played max payne 2 i saw the same physics, this means when i see the physics in hl2 when it comes out, they will be nothing special. I downloaded the leaked alpha, and it was laggy and slow, even with the correct drivers, and i have a high spec pc. It also didnt look anywehre near as good as it does in the pics. im going to go punch gabe newalls mum in the face
June 12, 200420 yr Alphas dont have stablized codes so i think its normal that ur fps is "teh craps" with an alpha version of a game.. unless when theres no physics or AI implemented (like STALKER)

So much so that you are no better than all the ravenous half life 2 fan boys who hang on Gabe Newell's every fast-food scented word. At least wait until the goddamn game is out before you tear it to pieces. It is also pointless saying that valve has missed the boat somehow by not releasing the game a year ago. The fact is the game was nowhere near finished a year ago, now deal with it.
