Decided to get 2 others LCD displays for my eyefinity, watched a few you tube videos on how to do it, but their catalyst software looks 100% different then mine so all of their tutorials are pretty much worthless.

Help = very much appreciated.

Do you have an active DP port because it might be passive. If you're sure it's an active DP then go to CCC, Desktop & Display , and check to see if it detected 3 monitors. If so create a display group for eyefinity.

For eyefinity to work you need a monitor that has a DP/MiniDP connection

OR

You need an active adapter (mini-DP/DP to HDMI/DVI). Active meaning it's powered by an external source or it's using a USB connection for power.

MiniDP-VGA adapters also work. I'm using an Apple made one from Best Buy. I recommend caution when using this I can't gaurantee if it will work for you. It should but keep the packaging and the bill if you decide to use this adapter. Just incase you gotta return it if it doesn't work.

Still not working? Do this : http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/amd-eyefinity-technology/how-to/Pages/set-up.aspx

Make sure you have two DVI's being used and the the third going out as a DP to VGA/DVI

How NCIX got their 3 hmdi tv's (which is basically what the OP has with 3 hdmi) to work was by using 1 straight hdmi, 1 dvi to hdmi adapter, and then one dp to dvi with a dvi to hdmi cable. They used a dp to dvi because the 6870. You'd use a mini dp to dvi adapter.

none of this is my own writing, use google next time
