But for peace of mind (assuming you do get drug tested, which is v. unlikely) you could get one of your non-pot smoking friends to piss in a squeezy bottle for you, and then hide it on your person when you go for the physical. Then when the doctor demands your urine sample, simply ask to go to the bathroom or behind a curtain ( i would imagine this to be standard anyway). Take out the squeezy bottle and fill her up. Although this method presents a whole host of other concerns, only for the desperate.
June 17, 200420 yr Your best bet would be to admit what happened to your parents (crying helps) so you don't get into "bigger" trouble at the doctor's office. That's your best bet at this point. I came clean to my parents just before surgery, because they told me I was going to get blood tests. They're actually cool with it now, so you never know :grin1: However.. I get asked this question by people so much. But think about it. They don't just load your piss into a piss analyzing machine and it prints out a little punch card of the results. What they do is drop chemicals into samples of your piss or blood, and if it changes color or reacts in ___ way, then you are positive. If you're going in for a physical, they're not going to do a narcotics test unless your parents (or you, dummy) ask for one. They have to specifically do a drug test and use the cannabis reactant to get a positive reading. You're cool. Unless your parents are on to you...

It is your doctors medical & ethical duty to protect this right, even withholding this information from inquisitive parents unless you give him explicit permission to share the information. The only exceptions to this rule would be if you were not considered an autonomous individual (eg. retarded/mentally incapacitated), had appointed your medical rights under court approved power of attorney, or if the results/treatments would subject you to outcomes that you are incapable of fully comprehending at your stage. In other words, the doctor is bound by the Hippocratic oath NOT to divulge any personal/confidential information to anyone but yourself. If he does not respect this right, you could lodge a complaint with the american college of physicians and have his license revoked.

I'm not saying the doing the drug is stupid, that's just an opinion, but I'm saying that stay on top of things. Know dates that could incriminate you. Let's take, for the sake of argument, the yearly physical that crops up every year in the States. (I don't live there either). If I was going to smoke pot or inhume any kind of drug, I'd make damn fucking sure that it was the day after my physical. But that's just me. Think about that for next time.

I dont live there so i dont really know :S Yes its like that here, although I dont go to the doctor anymore because his medicine gave me pnemonia last time. dude its really fuckin simple, just refuse to take the piss test- and make sure the doctor realizes you wish to keep your refusal confidential, and he cant lawfully tell your parents or make u take the test. real damn simple.
