There is quite a difference, OMP, and that difference is that the people in the armed forces have VOLUNTEERED, knowing the risks, and still wish to continue. It is their own obligation to serve the country in whatever way directed, because that is what they agreed to do when they joined the army. If people don't like that, then don't join the fucking army. Plain and simple. 2. Guess what? Michael Moore isn't even a fucking American. He's canadian. Since when have people EVER started to listen to canadians on how to run a country? I sure as hell hope nobody ever has, because we'd have a world full of tree-hugging, peace-loving pussies. Anyone who opposes war at a necessary time is completely mooreonic. Moore spouts off to the media when he is protected from people who know the facts, and everyone just eats his words like the fat shit he is eats big 'n tasties. 3. The movie may turn out to be good, but I hope it is just an account of what happened and not a political motivator masked in a movie. The movie The Day After Tomorrow is a perfect example of a masked political motivator. People will start to freak out about large environmental decisions (drilling in alaska, cutting forests, etc.) and now will be more prone to make the decision to save what is natural because they are too freaked out about something that's never going to fucking happen anyway. They themselves are also heightening populatory problems. Natural habitats have their places, but they should be few and far between. 4. Anyone who agrees with Moore is a hypocrite. I say that with such vehemence because the only people that are actually doing exactly what he is live in deserts of Africa. They don't eat organic food (save the environment), they get shot up at will (peace-lovers), they work for little or low wages (simple economy), and they usually have their money taken for small food rations (government spending). If you want America to be more like this, be my guest, move to Africa with the sand niggers. 5. To the Norwegian guy: America's capitalist system doesn't take care of everyone; it just takes care of the people who are too lazy to get jobs and work for themselves. It's called "welfare" over here. 6. OMP: A war based on lies? Was the capital of our nation's economy attacked? Was a building that represented America's production destroyed? Were thousands of innocent lives lost? The answers are yes. Now: Were the attacks linked to Al Queda? Did Saddam Hussein have contact with that organization? Has Saddam Hussein been found to purchase things from that organization? Therefore, would it be wrong to say that Saddam Hussein has been funding Al Queda?
