Remember when hakkenen was racing!? and the race was pretty much only schumacher & hakkenen. Could it be that the cars were as good as each other!? And could it be that since hakkenen has left, that McLaren hasnt left the pits and are still racing. And wouldn't that mean they would still have the same level of technology !?
