Posted June 30, 200420 yr Did anybody see this movie? Holy shit it ruined my pants. I heard that it's only playing in 5 american states. If that's true, do yourself a favor and see/download it.
June 30, 200420 yr Saw it opening night, was awesome. Highly recommend it. We had it playing at all 4 of the major theaters in town, was sold out the entire night. Just going to see it that night was great, everyone was really into the movie and shit. Best parts in teh movie are the clips of Bush just being Bush.
June 30, 200420 yr It's not bullshit and I assume you say this without even seeing it. Maybe you should actually watch it and then try to argue the points in the film that you feel are bullshit, instead of making yourself look like a ass by making claims you don't backup for a movie you have not seen. k
June 30, 200420 yr saw it last night, he makes some really good points but anyone can see bush is a moron without watching this movie. he owned the congressmen. i dont think its nearly as biased as bowling for columbine. This movie really is a must see.
June 30, 200420 yr I saw it today, my favorite part was when the wtc got attacked and how bush reacted, I couldn't stop laughing
June 30, 200420 yr Author yeah that owned i also liked how there is one senator with a child in the military, then moore asking congressmen to enlist their kids in the military "Senator!" "Hello there" "Hi, I'm Michael Moore?" "Oh, yes, filming another documentary?" "Yeah, something like that. Listen, do you have kids?" "Yes, I have two sons." "Oh, that's great. Well, here I have all the necessary paperwork to get your boys involved in the army, they can go overseas to Iraq and fight for America!" "..." *blank stare* "What do you say?" "Well.. I uh.."
June 30, 200420 yr What the hell do you think they would say moron? Also, you can't just sign your kids up like that, Moore was full of shit. Their reaction is exactly the same reaction anyone would have if a fat ugly man ran up with a camera and started asking you the same thing.
June 30, 200420 yr I went to theators and saw it was playing and "im like, i wonder what bullshit Moore is cooking up" but therefor i answered my own question, bullshit. So i saw dodgeball dodgeball > fahrenheit 9/11
June 30, 200420 yr I went to theators and saw it was playing and "im like, i wonder what bullshit Moore is cooking up" but therefor i answered my own question, bullshit. So i saw dodgeball dodgeball > fahrenheit 9/11 by yourself, presumably!
June 30, 200420 yr This was such a good movie. Another film to show how corrupt/terrible this pieace of trash we live in. America is awful. I cant wait..moving to the UK anytime now.
June 30, 200420 yr Some paper here said that the argument wasn't linked together, just shoved at you, then all glossed over with a nice load of bias. I'm in Australia.
June 30, 200420 yr Michael Moore's anti-Bush "Fahrenheit 9/11" became the highest-grossing documentary of all time on its first weekend in release, taking in $21.8 million as it packed theaters across the country this weekend. The movie, mocking President Bush and criticizing his decision to go to war in Iraq, was No. 1 at the box office, beating out the popular comedies "White Chicks" and "DodgeBall," which were playing on almost triple the number of screens. like it or not its kickin ass in the box office
June 30, 200420 yr Moore has said that it is completely biased. He isn't trying to pretend that its not.
June 30, 200420 yr yeah that owned i also liked how there is one senator with a child in the military, then moore asking congressmen to enlist their kids in the military "Senator!" "Hello there" "Hi, I'm Michael Moore?" "Oh, yes, filming another documentary?" "Yeah, something like that. Listen, do you have kids?" "Yes, I have two sons." "Oh, that's great. Well, here I have all the necessary paperwork to get your boys involved in the army, they can go overseas to Iraq and fight for America!" "..." *blank stare* "What do you say?" "Well.. I uh.." Probably wondering how is 12 and 14 year old son's were going to do at Boot Camp. A father couldn't do that, so what the fuck is the point. Also, he could of asked me and gotten laughed at, dumb fucker. How could anyone want to join the Army?
June 30, 200420 yr This was the real exchange between moore and the congressman: CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY How are you doing? MM: I’m trying to get members of congress to get their kids to enlist in the army and go over to Iraq. Is there any way you could help me with that? CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY: How would I help you? MM: Pass it out to other members of congress. CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY: I’d be happy to. Especially those who voted for the war. CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY: I have a nephew on his way to Afghanistan. MM: Because there is only one member who has a kid over there in Iraq. This is Corporal Henderson, he is helping me out here. CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY: How are you, good to see you. MM: There it is, it’s just a basic recruitment thing. Encourage especially those who were in favor of the war to send their kids. I appreciate it. CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY: Okay, bye. wow yeah who looked like a jackass in that one. Moore has good points, can't deny that, but he exagerates everything through editing. -ch3f
June 30, 200420 yr Why exactly is the US a "piece of trash" as you say? Cos hes a british fag American wannabe whos jealous of our freedom
June 30, 200420 yr Moore does give good arguments and good examples of it but all his stories are really 1-sided. Stupid White Men for instance was full of stuff that seemed unreal or very exagerated. He just overreacts on everything but makes good books/movies.
