Windows is a piece of shit (nothing new I know, but fuck you). I recently dl'ed the Win player 10 beta, and it's not compatible with content on some sites (like mtv). So, the logical thing would be to rollback the player version, and go back to 9, right? It tells me it's been rolled back to 9, but the problem is that I can no longer play ANY type of files on wmp. And I can't install 9 from scratch, as the installer can detect 10 beta, and decides that 10 is still better than 9, thus it automatically stops the installation. Right now I'm on the phone trying to get some technical support from India (cuz HP are cheap fags) and I've been waiting for about 15 minutes now.

btw, WMP 10 Is compatible with everything 9 was.. I had the exact same problem when i upgraded from 8 to 9.. but, of course I fixed it and easily :grin1:

any dumb enough to use windows media player should suffer, ever more to ppl useing M$IE (Micro$oft Internet Explorer) also if its a product with microsoft in the name expect shit and btw media player 9 has anti music piricy in it u know all those fucked up mp3's on kazaa and shit there like that because some idiot used windows media player 9 and when u played it it talked to teh online song database and it told it that that .mp3 is pirated if ur goina use wmp use wmp 8 not 9 and definaly not 10 and btw all u ie useres come into the light http://www.mozilla.org get firefox

Yah im kinda bad with grammer. Mozilla is completly free and opensource, theres no trogens, spyware, adware its accuraly a good defence agenst it because most of the adware ive seen goes over active X you can thank microsoft for that. Also when getting mozilla make sure to get firefox, the old mozilla if far to bulky as a result it takes long to load. But when it comes to WMP and M$IE I suggest to everyone to stay away from it because the fact theres so many exploites in M$IE and the fact that M$ uses WMP to get rid of pirated music.

 

edit: I kinda over reacted about wmp and m$ie, but there both terrable programs the only reason people use them is because they came with the opperating system.

Yes. But now I'm fucking done with it. I'm just either gonna do a windows repair, or wait till the official 10 player comes out. Right now I'm using winamp, and I'm acutally liking this lil proggy. Just gotta relearn hotkeys, which won't be hard.
