You're an idiot, of course a game developer is going to promote its own games as much as it can. That's how you get a bigger slice of the market, by putting your game out into the public eye. Not everyone reads computer mags and websites religiously. Now as for nintendo not being cool, you haven't got a clue, they are about as cool as a game developer can be. They make decent, original games in a console market that has been swamped by a pop culture phenomenon.
