Posted July 18, 200420 yr WON Shutdown Timing Starting July 26th the shutdown of the WON authentication servers will begin. This process will be completed on July 31st. This means players will no longer be able to access Internet features of Valve games, such as Counter-Strike 1.5, using the WON authentication servers. July 18, 200420 yr Once people starting finding out about 1.5 Steam I bet there'll be a huge re-surgeance of 1.5 since no one likes the fuckin' shield and that shitty new guns. The only good things that have come out of 1.6 are better MP5 accuracy and better auto-sniper accuracy. The friends network is OK but it's down all the time. Once Doom 3, Source, HL2 and/or Quake 4 comes out though I get the feeling one of them will kill CS or one of them will have a bitchin' CS-esqe mod.
