July 21, 200420 yr i had a 1 avp comic it was noobish but i had a lot of predator comix BUT ICANT FIND THEM FUX DIX NIGGER DIX. its weird me and my friend chose predator as the comics we would buy instead of spiderman or some shit like that we bought theese comics when we were 9.

There has never been a movie based on a game worth its salt, simply because studios don't take them seriously. They just see it as a way to make money off the back of popular culture. And event horizon is the only decent mainstream horror movie i can think of to come out in the past few years, it was genuinely suspenseful and disturbing in a genre that is notoriously difficult to get right. As far as it making no sense at all goes, that is at the very least a massive exaggeration, bordering on being and out and out lie. No doubt you are referring to some mild plot inconsistency that truthfully i didn't even notice when i was watching the film. Soldier blew hard admittedly, but shopping and the sight weren't that bad, watchable at least. I realise none of his movies have been outstanding (and two really sucked), but he hasn't had ideal projects to work on. It would be very close-minded to assume he isn't capable of doing good work on aVp especially considering how promising the trailer looked. And even if it isnt a celluloid masterwork i still think it will be worth watching for the coolness factor.

The reason I think its gonna blow is "resident evil" and not mortal kombat, which hasnt even a good decent to begin with. in my eyes its not even his fault that mortal kombat is such a piece of shit. but with resident evil he had the ideal opportunity to make a good movie out of a game, simply because the games DO supply a great story. there are even novels based on the game and they are good as well. so what he did was taking a few basic story elements (umbrella, zombievirus, zombies, blabla), mixing them together in a completely uncoordinated way and throwning in some stupid bs. the result was a disappointing movie that was only watchable in the first 20 minutes. Did you know that he wrote the script? So if he wrote that bullshit that resident evil was he has THE POTENTIAL to fuck up again when writing AvP. maybe the movie will pwn, maybe resident evil 2 will be great and nothing like the gay prequel. but seeing as he has already made 3 (in my opinion 4) really shitty movies i can hardly believe that he will write something better this time.
