July 23, 200420 yr I gotta ATI 9200 128 meg...does the job for what I need it to do. I had a geforce 400MX once...melted it using speedhack I think. Nothing wrong with geforce...I thought it was good.

July 24, 200420 yr I think it sort of depends on what games you are planning on playing. If i was set to my gaming style, i would buy radeon 9800xt or better, since that should run HL2 like a mofo. But if you wanna play unreal, go nvidia. I dont know which company doom 3 uses, but anyway.. :owned:

Nvidia might have more stable drivers, but their image quality sucks compared to Radeons plus ati doesnt fucking cheat in 3Dmark. look on the 3dmark forums and ull see that 80% of the posts will be about crappy perf on the 6800... they used a computer on 3Dmark that was HIGHLY overclocked and tweakd man, so don't go saying that shit. (with they I mean ATI) and the problem with the Nvidia card test was that becouse of their cards leetness it needs fuck loads of power.

Faker you talk alot of shit about ATi's drivers, the cats I use are old and haven't failed me once, they don't release many considering how many fucking nvidia dets have been released, what are they utp now, 55 or some shit. I found constantly the newer dets for nvidia were crapping my card up worse and worse, where as the cat's seem to get better and better. bullshit, I bought my Ti 4600 when it was just out, and the newest of the newest. costed me around 460 euros or sumthing.

Thats why the cards crap out when theres alot of smoke on teh screen, 10 fps w00t. What u have a card that works normally (x800) or one that fucks up when theres smoke on ur screen
