July 29, 200420 yr I remember when I got my first check. It was cool, $500 is a lot when you're 16. It's fallen to $350 now (working less hours), but $350 is cool when you're 17. But I don't play RPGs online, really, so I guess I'm off topic.

July 29, 200420 yr City of Heroes sucks, its got such linear gameplay and it gets boring and insanely hard once you hit level 15. Final Fantasy 11 is boring as hell early game, and it takes forever to level to the levels where its actually fun. SoE likes to rape the consumer in the ass, so I'd stay away from Star Wars Galaxies, which took a good a concept and fucked it up with endless patches and nerfs and a gay jedi system. Everquest 2 is also SoE so I'm apprehensive. Best bet? World of Warcraft in November. Blizzard's done good so far keeping its player's happy, and from what I've seen this game looks amazing.

I heard it's really good, and a lot of my friends play it, however, I don't, because I don't want to be a level 1 nothing while they're all level ultimate riding dragons and shit. (i don't know if you can ride dragons, probably not) All I know is, I heard good things.
July 29, 200420 yr DAoC is alright But City of Heroes gets boring REALLY fucking fast. FFXI is frustrating and boring.. the worst of both worlds. And Sony game you should stay away from. I concur that WoW would be the best thing to wait for. DAoC for now.

July 29, 200420 yr CoH is fun for a while, but its basically just eye candy seeing as it gets boring quite fast. the graphics are purely amazing in it though. DAoC i hear is the best shit out right now, but imo id wait till WoW becasue that will blow every game away. most say EQ2, but all those EQ1 nerds arnt going to stop playing because they will lose their oh so awesome accounts that they had to spend countless hours in their mothers basements playing that gay game to get.

July 30, 200420 yr DAoC is a good mmorpg, but they made playing solo very hard. If you can get into a good guild or you get lucky and get into good groups, you can get up to the higher levels fast. Once you get to the high levels tho, its incredibly fun, but you just gotta have patience. It takes about 3 months to get from lvls 1-40 for your first character. and probably another 3 months to get from 40-50. So, make sure you got alot of time on your hands :P Also, if your downloading the version off of gamespy, i suggest if you like the game to go out and buy the platiumn box set of the game, it contains the 2 expansions you don't have.
July 30, 200420 yr if you want a fun game that will take a while to play, get FFXI if your lookign for a power level type game get AC2
