Posted July 29, 200420 yr Here you fuckwads go: Before we begin, you will need to realise two things. 1) This process will take TIME, and requires a LOT of hard drive disk space. Be prepared to set aside 5-10 gigabytes of space just for a 5 minute video. 2) You WILL need to purchase some software, unless you're in the piracy/warez business. http://www.mtlc.net/main.php?ShowIt...&a=Products Vegas Video 4.0. Estimated Cost: $500 http://www.sharewaresoft.com/VideoM...nload-33079.htm Video Mach. Estimated Cost: $20 http://www.divx.com DivX Video CodeC Once you have obtained all the proper software, you will need clips of action that you want to feature in the film. To do so, you must RECORD a demo. (syntax: RECORD <demofile> | example: RECORD Dust2Pub) Now we will set up a couple binds. First, we will bind F7 to start recording frames to a bitmap, and F8 to stop, so type this: bind F7 "startmovie <Bitmap Prefix> <Framerate>" bind F8 "endmovie" The bitmap prefix plays no role in displaying the video. However the frame rate is how fast it is displayed. For the most part, keep this value at 35 or 40. Once you have all the content you wish to use, disconnect from anyserver you're on, and use the viewdemo command to re-play the movie (syntax: VIEWDEMO <demofile> | example: VIEWDEMO Dust2Pub) At this point, the video will start to play back. You may choose to customize the way the screen looks, and the way you want it to look, when you put it into the movie. For example, net_graph 0;hud_draw 0;voice_enable 0 will get rid of the network/fps monitor, all of your HUD, and disable any voice playback. Press your escape button, and get to the point in the movie that you wish to feature. Here, you will press the F7 button to begin recording screenshots. This process may take a while, but is a required step. Once you wish to stop recording clips, press your F8 button, and the demo will continue as normal. If you want to grab more images, re-set your binds with a new bitmap prefix. Now, in your Counter-Strike folder, you will have probably close to 200 .bmp files. Launch your VideoMach software. In the bottom left hand corner of the Window is the "Input Video List'. Click the folder above this list and navigate to your Counter-Strike folder (example: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Admin@PleaseEat.us\counter-strike\cstrike\) Once you are here, select all of the .bmp files you wish to feature in the flick and click Open. Now in the "Input Video List" there should be all the screenshots that you took. Re-arrange these as you see fit, and then move on. Above the "Input Audio List" is a small floppy disk. Click this icon to begin configuring the video output properties. First, we will select "Video Only", because we aren't going to add sounds yet. Secondly, we are going to put the file in C:\Video Editing\ and name the file "TestMovie1.avi", so the first box that you can type stuff in, you should type ("C:\Video Editing\TestMovie1.avi") and make sure the format is set as "AVI, Windows Audio Video Interleaved". Click on the "Video" tab at the top of the window, and un-check the "Automatic Frame Rate" option. Change this to whatever the rate you chose as a viewdemo framerate, plus 3, so: $a + 3 If you chose 35 as your viewdemo framerate, you would set this as 38. Next, click on the "Format Options" button and select the DivX CodeC that you previously installed. Click OKAY until you are back to the main window. Next to the floppy disk icon in the "Input Audio List" is the right-arrow. Click this, and it will begin to compile your video into .avi format. ******* ******* For a simple, small video, that may suffice, if you want more detail, continue reading. ******* ******* For featuring more than one clip of action, repeat the above process as many times as desired. Now, you should load up Vegas Video. Here, you will be able to have a LOT of fun. I am not going to write up a documentation on how to use Vegas, but I will tell you what you will need to do. First, import the videos from C:\Video Editing\ and add them to a layer of Vegas Video. Secondly, arrange them so that they play in the proper order. Thirdly, add the desired effects, any required ones are included with vegas video. Tip: I use 20% +Brightness on all of my videos, as VideoMach/DivX tend to dim the screenshots. Fourth, add a audio/music clip and trim it to the length of your movie. Finally, goto File -> Render As, and select the output options. That's it! You will now have your own full length video that is totally YOURS! I do believe that's it guys! Please make this thread sticky, so I don't have to keep referencing it every time I see a "Video Making" request. Happy Hacking Kiddies!

Do this: Step 1) Get Camtasia Step 2) open up Camtasia and hit record then hit play on video you want to record. (Make sure Audio is enabled on Camtasia) Step 3) Watch copied movie. The End.
July 30, 200420 yr I didnt read it, will later, but let me just say: Vegas Video 4.0 is very easy to pirate. And VideoMach is free for non-commercial use. It asks you at the end of your 30 day trial if its for personal use or some shit, click yes and its yours for the keeping. Also, I once made an avi out of a 20 minute demo, I had 30GB in bitmap images when I was done.

July 30, 200420 yr Download Fraps. It's 647 k, Free if you know where to get it, and it skips all of that demo playdemo timedemo bullshit. It goes straight to uncompressed avi. Set aside 300 megs for a 5 minute video. Edit it down to about 50. gg.
