wtf is ac? I just found that thread from another forum

they dont have time to have a fucking meeting with customers. I got popped fo downloading american wedding from suprnova about a year ago and all comcast did was send me an e-mail telling me not to do it anymore. so why would they have a meeting over :bj: ?

same thing happened to me except i was downloading just about every new movie that came out. they threatened to shut off my internet but they never did

on bit torrent, you download and upload at the same time. the mpaa will connect to you and download from you, track your ip and cry to your isp. Its the same thing the riaa does. they download from you, get your ip and supoeana your isp to get your identity. I use peer guardian now.

Wtf? ISP's can cut off your int3rn3t for BitTorrent? As soon as i'm finished, I just cut off my seeding. So noone downloads from me. Waste of bandwidth too. And I don't dl movies or music.

Whenever someone makes a bs threat about ym ISP, I actually give them all my ISP info, as in Phone # and E-mail. I've been called once but I told them to fuck off. Because wtf I pay, now stfu and provide.

I was in this gaming clan for cod a while back, and this dude from the MOH division over heard the RCON password one day, so even tho he heard the password, he went into the server, changed the PW to somethin really long, and was changing gravity and stuff, and he got in trouble for it because he dident have permission to do the changes, even tho the people were not responcible and said the password in the public vent

 

out come: He is not able to have any broadband or highspeed internet access for 5 years and has to use 56k. and he had to pay for 1 month of server rental and if he does it again, he will not legally be able to live in a house with a computer

A friend of mine owned the FS ventrilo a while back (banned everyone, then deleted all the channels) only reason he dident get in trouble was because the vent server admin or what ever was told if he dident want something like that to happen, they should have locked the vent... its locked now..

No, it's bullshit. No ISP has the power to make you move into a house without a phone line or whatever, and unless the brought him into court under charges this would never happen. This isn't fucking Hackers the movie, dumbshit. Anyone who was brought in under "LOLUHACEDORUSERVAR" charges would get the case dismissed after he told them how he got the RCON password.

when u isp calls say oyu dont know what theyre talknig aboti play dumb all the way eventually they'll leave you alone. unelss they find proof that you download 200000 kiddie porn pics but thats another story i suggest you get a lawyer.
