Posted July 31, 200420 yr PALMDALE, Calif. -- The U.S. government has quietly built hundreds of concentration camps around the country "just in case" it becomes necessary to institute martial law and imprison millions of Americans, a researcher warns. "There are about 600 of these prison sites around the country and more popping up overnight. They are manned, but do not yet contain prisoners," researcher Terry Kings claims. Kings' startling warning appears in an article posted on the Above Top Secret website, which is devoted to uncovering government conspiracies. The article claims the camps are "all fully operational" and ready to receive prisoners. "These camps are to be operated by FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency) should martial law need to be implemented in the United States," an introduction to the shocking article states. "The camps all have railroad facilities leading to and from the detention facilities." Currently, the largest detention center is located outside Fairbanks, Alaska, and can hold approximately 2 million people, the article states. Kings investigated three detention camps, one in Palmdale. "It is masquerading as part of a water facility," Kings writes. "The fences that run for miles around this large facility all point inward and there is a moat surrounding the central area." "No trespassing" signs are posted every 50 feet to discourage prying eyes. "They could easily fit 100,000 people in this area," he says. A similar site in the San Fernando area is even more ominous, ringed with barbed wire fences. "There were newly constructed roads, new gray military-looking buildings and a landing strip," Kings writes. "Police cars were constantly patrolling the several-mile perimeter." On the grounds were about 100 huge black boxes that looked like railroad cars -- chillingly reminiscent of the cattle cars used to bring victims to concentration camps in Nazi Germany. "We had heard that loads of railroad cars have been manufactured in Oregon outfitted with shackles," the researcher reveals. Kings believes that the government will use a natural catastrophe or another Y2K-type crisis that sparks nationwide panic as an excuse to institute martial law and begin filling the camps. "Once a major disaster occurs, whether it is a real or manufactured event does not matter, martial law is hurriedly put in place and we are all in the hands of government agencies," he warns. :stupid: :owned:
