edit, it occurs to me that yo ushould just be able to join a cracked server.

guys, if your cracked version is working try heading to

 

24.16.255.145:27015 and see if itll work. its set to 64 players, so if it works out invite your friends, and it will be up permanently

Build doesn't work under Windows 98/ME.

i also got it working, and all i can say is......................OMFG!!!!!!!11ON E

dust is so much more beautiful on the source. i was on that server, and me and spear were playing soccer with a tire! lol! i couldnt get it working at first, but try experimenting and youll get it.

can only join servers that are cracked, mine crashed :( probably because of faggoty aim.

 

 

Get it back up, i was just about to join :D

<[myg0t]FAKIR> ok as of now steam updated css servers to protocal 3!! most of u jews have protocol 2 so that means u cant join until a protocol 3 update is released. YA u can create ur own servers, or maybe u can find a server on the list that hasnt upgraded to protocol 3

Ok, there's some more stuff I have to figure out.

 

Ok, here's what you need:

 

You need ALL THREE

 

Torrent:

http://www.accesswave.ca/~garrymullins/CS%20Source/cssource_cracked_emporio.rar

 

There, follow the instructions and away you go.

 

 

Step 1) Download cssource_notcracked_beta_emporiooma, cssource_cracked_emporio and cssource_updates_emporio

Step 2) Extract cssource_notcracked_beta_emporiooma into a folder. I named the folder CSS.

Step 3) Extract cssource_cracked_emporio into the same folder and overwrite everything. Then apply the updates from cssource_updates_emporio

Step 4) Log onto steam and let it download any updates available. Exit Steam. Copy and Paste your ClientRegistry.blob into the CSS folder. Over write the existing file.

Step 5) Open steamapp.cfg located in the CSS folder. Edit the file so it would look like this

SteamAppId=10

#SteamAppVersionId=0

SteamInstallPath="X:\CSS"

# [as is clearified later on, this should be your email address:]

#[email protected]

[email protected](your usernam account for steam not the actual email address)

Step 6) Make a shortcut for the hl2.exe. Goto the shortcut properties and add -steam -game cstrike

Step 7) Click on shortcut icon and play

 

All you need, i'm in a gernerious mood.
