if you havent, dont waste your time. VERY disappointing. dont get me wrong, i loved all the alien/predator movies, even alien ressurection. but this was just made so incredibly bad, its not even funny. for something that cost $200 million and was 10 years in the making, i dont know how they made it this bad. the aliens and predators look good, but thats the only good part of the movie. dont see it, youll be uberly disappointed if your expecting an incredible movie.

thor, not quite as disappointing as jurassic park 3, but damn close. shizz, dont see it when it comes, its very very very bad (x300). Some people give it scores of 10/10, but they have NO idea what makes a good movie. again, im one of the biggest fans of both the film franchises, but this movie sucks. thanks a lot mr anderson, you destroyed 2 fuckin classics. dumbass. anybody with good taste can see that this movie is bad.

well I accept u finding the movie bad.. but I just HAVE TO see that movie, no matter how bad! you see I've also played AVP and AVP2 untill those games were soo old.. lol avp2 is from like 2001 and ive played it till about 6 months ago.

geez come on what did you fucking expect from an alien and predator movie? maybe if it was another aliens movie or predator movie, but when you combine both of them you can't expect much out of it. i thought it was alright, not great, what killed it was the pg 13 rating, it needed a lot more killing and firepower, and the movie was too short.

avp was problay the best movie I seen this year, considering all the other crappy movies coming out

 

 

It had some cheesy parts, but the good parts overshadowed that.

 

favorite moment of the movie: when the chick and the predator started to work toghter to kill the aliens

 

another one was: when the predator came out of nowhere and spinned and cut the troat of the mother aliens troat

 

another one: when the baby alien, jumped on the girls face, and it was like slow mo matrix style, I LOVED THAT PART.

 

 

everyone kept clapping at certain moments, and the movie was just a piece of art, considering all the masks and customes they had to make.

 

I loved how they tied in the consiparcy theory, of aliens coming back in the pryamid ages to help build pyramids.

 

And how the predators where hunters who just raised the aliens so they can kill them and be worthy to be called predators.

 

it was a tight movie and I recommend it 100%

The Aliens KIND OF win at the end for the person that asked. You have to see the ending... Although a lot of people have different opinions. I suppose EVERYONE wins if you look at it a certain way.

 

Personally, I liked the part when the Pred took out his throwing disk (which they changed since the first/second predator movies) and cut off part of the Aliens' head.

ok first, i have played avp and avp 2, i LOVE those games, i play avp 2 ALL the time. second, zuzu, several things about your statement: when the pred and woman started working together, i HATED that, because humans are considered prey to the pred, they would never help each other. EVER. not even in a war with the aliens would they help each other, it just isnt right. second, they didnt make an abnormal amount of costumes, the aliens and predators are a mix of live action and cgi. third, i agree with the part about the pred jumping out from nowhere and slashing the queens throat, that part owned. as someone said, the idea makes a great game, but a horrible movie. maybe if ridley scott directed it it would be less action and more horror/suspense, true to what the original alien and predator movies were based on.id give this movie 2/10, because i liked how the aliens and preds looked, the rest was horse shit.

I saw it as a poor movie. Predators couldnt win so they throw a bomb into the hive and run out. Boom everyone dies. The last of the chosen 3 die. I didnt see a winner.

Ok, there were like 2 better movies this year, Troy and King Arthur, AVP was tres shit.

special effects alone cant make a movie good... look at the matrix sequels which blew dick. the "big" fight scene in the second matrix movie was completely cgi and it blew dick. both those movies sucked because htey relied on big production costs and cgi to make them good, where the story characters and plot became an utter pile of heaping horse shit.

I totally agree, the Matrix 2 and 3 sucked my ass. Plus they had a couple of homo-fag directors.

I agree with zuzu, it was a work of art, they tied in an excellent story for the predators, i loved it how they kept the old habits of the pred to tie up the corpses of humans upside down like trophys, sure id like it with there was more gore, but i just downloaded ichhi the killer :). anyway it was awesome, certainly the best movie to come out from a game idea.

ah yes but remember that the game came from the movies, which this movie totally destroyed.
