Posted October 7, 200321 yr I just seen an interveiw with gabe of valve on fox news center. He said the game will now be delayed until at least April, to rewrite the source. He said the reason was so no one will have an unfair advantage....LOL

So my assumption is that you beleive no one should care about HL2 until you can play it.....LOLÂ Get a Job, if you cant come up with 400 bucks for a good card.....then maybe you should spend less time in forums, and find a job!

It was mostly for the first guy who posed right after me. But on that note, why cant you find a job. when I was in high school I had 2 jobs through 3 of my years as I played Basketball and Football. Is it that hard to find work when your in school? I would think it would be easy to work while your in school, it certainly was for me. Most employers are willing to work with a high school kids schedule more than an adult. When I was young I worked damn hard for everything I had, and it reflects the man I am today. I worked hard, got good grades and then went to college.........thats the path we all take...

October 8, 200321 yr actually, he's got a point, money...pretty sad if you "don't have time" to find a job that'll put an extra $400 in your pocket...maybe you're spending TOO MUCH time on forums and in games? I gotta agree with him on the work/school thing, since I worked 2 jobs all through high school, despite being on the soccer team, in a band, and martial arts. I COULD have had mommy and daddy buying me anything I wanted they thought was "reasonable", but I wanted to be certain I had my OWN money to spend on my car and GF (and on partiing, of course) Dunno, man...I've just never had any problem coming up with enough money to support whatever vices I decided to aquire, and don't have much respect for anyone lazy enough to sit on their ass and bitch about what they don't have, and how hard it's going to be to get it. With today's minimum wage, you could work three weekends for a landscape company as grunt labor, digging the trenches for yard sprinklers, and pocket $400, without endangering grades or social life. If you're "too busy" to manage that..or to stretch it out over six weekends, or whatever it takes, you're not too busy, you're too lazy.
