I was just wondering if you could tell me how much it would be to build a good gaming pc? Also if you have any suggestions on what mother board, processor, and video card I should get.
9800pro, softmod to a xt get arctic cooling you can get the stock speeds over 9800xt stock, so that saves you over 200 dollars, then get a amd 64 3000, and 768ram, itll probly cost you about 600dollars just over for all that, then u need hardrive good motherboard and others

well its not great or anything but it works. I think i saved the link for a $490.90 gaming comp.

Assuming you have a monitor this should be your final coast granted you can find em near you and dont have to pay s&h.

ok.. i'm sorry if i'm just ignorant here, but why are people buying 64-bit processors for a 32-bit operating system running 32-bit apps. are you going to be running Solaris?

and if you're saying its in anticipation of Windows Longhorn or Windows 64 or whatever the next release is going to be, don't you think you'll be a lot smarter to buy once the technology is much more refined and cheaper?

again, maybe I just don't understand the situation or technology.. but it seems dumb to me.
