Posted January 10, 200520 yr Hello all I am currently in highschool (10th grade) and last quarter I got a 1.9 GPA (not good at all) and it was mostly the same last year give or take a few points. I have decided to start getting good grades now and I am getting a 3.0 this quarter and may be put in an honors history class next year. I was wondering if it is to late to turn my grades around to go to college? Anyone have any stories about how they got better grades and into college?

Anyone have any stories about how they got better grades and into college? iono wtf you're at, but I think the CSU and UC systems in Cali require a certain amount of points calculated from both your SAT and GPA. If you keep it up, you can probably recover. Also, this could score points with the people looking over your college ap and show them that you've cleaned up your act, and they may sympathize with you. Or you may just be fucked and have to go to San Francisco State University.

Lung cancer, emphysema. Plus decreased testestorone levels in heavy smokers. And although not scientifically proven, it does seem to make you stupid. Look at every stoner you know, arent they the stupidest fucks youve ever met? One guy on tv actually smoked so much that when girls were fucking around with him, his nipples would get hard instead of his dick. The only things I can think of that make weed not as bad as cigarettes, is that its less physically addictive and you actually get a feeling out of smoking it. Where as cigarette smokers like myself have to smoke cigarettes just to feel normal. But have I also heard of some heavy weed smokers that are the same way.

January 11, 200520 yr Your semester gpa might be 3.0 but ur Cumilative gpa wont be. If u graduate and get less than par grades, i know for CU Boulder i had a 3.4 GPA and a 1260 on SATS and i got in, then just stay at home for a year and then transfer. when you are a transfer student they do not look at your highschool grades or even SATS. all they look at is college transcripts. so if you kick ass freshman year in college you will be good.
