I think you are thinking of Visual C++, which is a Microsoft adoption of object orientated programming. I have to agree with dark_urza here, it would be far easier in the long run to learn C first and then progress on to VB/Python/Delphi whatever. Better still, spend a few hours in QBASIC to grasp the concept of programming, then go out and buy a Dummies book for C++.
