VB is better for beginners and more graphically interfaced thus making it better for simple games and hacks. Also, Microsoft programs the majority of their software in VB. Don't be so ignorant and make sure everyone knows that you don't know what you are talking about.
dude...the easiest programming language isnt VB...its Turing...u might not have heard of it cuz the program is a piece of sh*t.......o well....im saying tat u should go for C++ right away because once u get used to easy stuff...its gonna be hard to change back to hard stuff

What's the majority of their software mean? I think you are thinking of Visual C++, which is a Microsoft adoption of object orientated programming. I have to agree with dark_urza here, it would be far easier in the long run to learn C first and then progress on to VB/Python/Delphi whatever.

 

Better still, spend a few hours in QBASIC to grasp the concept of programming, then go out and buy a Dummies book for C++.
