It's sad when my AMD Athlon 64 3200+ on a 754 pin motherboard performs better than Intel's newest 3.8Ghz processor on a Prescott core. Even sadder is that not only does my 3200+ perform better, cost less, and run cooler, but, like Mercury said, it offers a seamless migration from 32 to 64 bit code. Intel just got raped.

Wow I must have missed this moron's post. Obviously you haven't read up on well... anything, because you have no idea what you're talking about. Intel's processors have a MASSIVE cooling problem which not only makes for their processors running at extrememly high temperatures but also pushes ambient temperatures up in the case. One of the huge reasons that computer cases are moving from ATX form to BTX format is because Intel needs to find a way to cool their peice of shit, high voltage, energy leaking processors. The Intel move to 90nm with their Prescott core has been, to say the very least, a complete disaster in almost every aspect. I leave my computer running all day, as a matter of fact this hasn't been turned off for the past 21 days and it is running fine. For your sake I have revised your post for you:

Actually, I amn't computer illiterate, just because I don't know about AMD64s, doesn't mean I'm computer illiterate..

And you speak as if AMD doesn't have any faults and that it's the best.. (In fact it isn't, has anyone forgotten about MIPS or, say, SPARC? Our good old buddies who have been left in the dark thanks to you gamers? :()

By the way, yes, I don't know what I'm talking about, I merely took a person's word for that info... but I'll present him with your argument and give you the response.

Freddie_Mercury']but your are english illiterate

And "amn't" is valid... I'm combining "am" and "not" and using an apostrophe to indicate that there's a missing letter, o.

Kind of like "did not" and "didn't".

kthxbye

Face it, you're computer illiterate you retard.

No, I'm not.

I've been working with computers and programming for well over a year now... but in the past 3 years I haven't been keeping up to date with gaming, graphics technologies or AMD and Intel crap...

For my own convenience, I decided that I didn't want to push the space bar an extra time so I saved the work. (Since I wouldn't have to apply more force over the distance)

Well see that's funny because I don't program at all, and I've only been into computers for a year or so and I still know more than you, that's sad. And also I hope you're glad a teenager from Kentucky can spell better than you, dumbass.

*Edit* And nice try getting yourself out of being illiterate. You lose.

Oh, really?

Hahah, spell better than me? That's funny.. my spelling's not bad at all..

The fact that I like to combine words with obvious meanings doesn't mean my spelling sucks.

Such as catalystic. If you can't comprehend that, I don't know what the hell's wrong with you.

Anyway, how do you know that you know more than me? ;)

The only thing me and you have ever talked about has been Half-Life 2... and how you're anti-pirating it...

Anyway, it seems that your syntagm of a paradigm such as myself is incorrect. >:\

Go program in BASIC or something.

No problem. =)

Nice use of Webster's dictionary.

*Edit* I'll admit I made a typo, too bad I'm not you and tried to cover it up with some dumbass contraction.

Hahah, I don't care if you don't believe me..

In fact, I don't give a shit if you call me illiterate, you're wrong. :}

It's not my fault that you have an incorrect syntagm.

Ahh... ok. You being the completely computer literate person you are, go ahead and forward that to your friend so he can tell you what you should say in return... doesn't add up sorry. I would love to know what programming languages you have under your belt, I took 4 years of programming including BASIC, C++ and JAVA in high school, outside of school I've taught myself PHP and SQL and now I'm going to college working towards a computer science degree (mainly focusing on .Net and Java).

Jedi Pimp']I like Intel cause I live in a shithole and have dust problems so the inside of my case and my motherboard gets covered with so much dust it looks like the fuzz on Irish's weed pictures and I dont feel the need to run a box with 6 fans to deal with the AMD heat problem.

BTW - HP rules!!!! (this ad paid for by SX)

Intel has far far worse heat problems, as I stated earlier. I only have two fans running in my case and my AMD is running at 35'C full load. Plus, you can put fan filters on for like 2 bucks if dust is really that much of a problem, I have them on my fans.

I quote myself:

"Intel's processors have a MASSIVE cooling problem which not only makes for their processors running at extrememly high temperatures but also pushes ambient temperatures up in the case. I use Intel due to my multimedia production as well as gaming. AMD Preforms better in gaming, whereas Intel is more of a general use processor, and preforms better in data-processing/compression & multimedia production.

if its good for gaming then its good for anyhting
