Posted February 6, 200520 yr For any one who might care, After lots of research and ease of use issues for wep cracking; I found a wep cracker for windows that suports 99.999% of cards out there; is easy to use and works in windows. http://www.michiganwireless.org/tools/aircrack/ Check for updates here http://www.cr0.net:8040/ All of the cheep pcmcia or pci cards have an adm8211 chipset (Many manufactures use this) it is knowen as: # Hermes / Prism2 : Agere driver (old; I own a DWL-650 with the prism2 chipset) http://www.agere.com/mobility/wireless_lan_drivers.html # Atheros / Realtek : WildPackets drivers (new; any thing with "adm8211" chipset) http://www.wildpackets.com/support/hardware/airopeek Cards i own with this are (xtrasys, encore, lanready) all of which are dirt cheep at pricewatch. (either pcmcia or pci; I will say it again "adm8211"). I would suggest buying xtrasys if you have a choice. The files i downloaded were: aircrack-2.1.zip Peek5.sys Peek.dll msvcr70.dll Extract the aircrack.zip, then copy the .sys and .dll files into the win32 directory. Read the html file to understand how things work (you can skip the linux sections). Pretty much after that you click the airodump.exe and its self explanitory. Why is this useful ???????????? Well #1 you try finding something this functional and easy to use for wepcracking in linux or windows; I gaurntee you will find nothing. #2 Free internet. #3 Paybacks (crack your neigbors wep; crack his routers password; overwrite firmware; packetsniff neigbors e-mail passwords, forums; spread viruses; trojan horse; etc etc etc etc) The niggers who suspended my normal ripednail account can suck my cock.
February 6, 200520 yr problem is with alot of WEP cracking is to be able to crack it, it needs to intercept a number of weakly encripted packets, if the wireless station is not sending lots of amounts of data is could take a very long time to collect these packets and crack them
February 6, 200520 yr up until 5 minutes ago you didt even have the option to crack weps. You are simply wrong with the week packet shit; come back again when you have read more. Yes, this does take a long-time however if you use linux, you can spam arp requests which speeds the process up. Basicly, this is good for people in dense areas so they can cause problems. I guess about 2-3 days of packet collection would be enyough time to get a key (with out synthetic packeting).

I assume that you would not be able to get airsnort or kimset working (because they are a pain in the ass); I am linux savvy therefore i assume that you were not able to get it to work; please refer to programing posts in this forum.
