There are people out there with 400gig hard drives on their xbox that have never had to buy a game, they just save them to hard drive. If you mod it with a chip, and new dashboard, you can put dvd-burners in them, to copy and burn movies, games, music, you name it to and from the hard drive. Of course, why you'd want to "ungrade ur Cpu games" is beyond me. :rolleyes:

February 10, 200520 yr Yes it is worth it, even if Steam had a monthly charge, xbox live would be a better buy I play.. Halo 2..who doesnt with live NhL 2005 Madden 2005 Mortal Kombat D. (extremly difficult) and some others not worth mentioning But just go out and buy the $70 year plan of XboxLive thing instead of paying monthly, and u get the headset and all that shit with it, or just buy xbox live games and keep using the 2 month free thing that comes with it. besides, 7 bucks a month is pocket change even to a bum, the only problem is the gay credit card bullshit PC > XBOX > Sega genesis > Gamecube > PLAYSTATION 2 can suck my ass

You can do many things on a Xbox. Run linux, intall a modchip, save games to your hard-drive, mod games (Halo, Halo 2), and create new maps for games. And yes, they do upgrade games. Xbox Live has downloadable content. They do release patches everyone once and a while, and give you new levels, and any other content the publisher wants to. Im not saying Xbox is better then a PC (cause its not) but that is no reason to call it gay. Stop worrying about what people think.
