I can't decide on a college, so I guess I'll leave it up to the morons on the myg0t forums....

Here are the choices:

University of Minnesota (Twin Cities, MN): http://www.umn.edu

Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN): http://www.purdue.edu

Indiana University (Bloomington, IN): http://www.indiana.edu

I'll be a Business (Accounting) major with perhaps a minor in Comp Sci....

And I didn't make it a poll so people wouldn't just hit an option and press submit, please give input....

Not sure, Im not even going to college since getting a degree or whatever in game design is bullshit anyways.

Eye: You certainly have some quality choices there. I am assuming your GPA is at least an A- and you SATs are around a 1200? If not, then perhaps you should take a look at a few safety schools.

Speaking of which, I am transferring for next semester. I am hoping to go to either Northeastern Univ. in Boston, MA or Cornell Univ. in Ithaca, NY.

I'd go with Purdue, personally. And drop the business major and just be a sole computer science. There's nothing quite like not finding a job after college because everyone decided to declare business.

Declare a popular major if you get into the school you want and then if you dont want to stay with that major, switch after you get in.

By the way, I was an accounting major last year. Let me tell you something: accounting sucks huge balls. It really, really does. I dont want to get your hopes down, but unless if you like math (and I mean really like it) along with having accounting lab classes, paying attention to meticulous detail, and having a hard time in class, enjoy the major.

Pick an easy major and go to law school. Best thing to do there.

fucking irish pig
For buisness go to Purdue it is extremely reputable, and if you have that you graduated from Purdue on your resume you will have the backing of a good school as a job reccomendation.

You should go to University of Minnesota.

I just thought I would actualy be different here and make a vote.

To be honest though I have no idea which college is better, considering i've never heard of them before.

If you had posted "SNIFFCRACKUPMYNOSTRILS!1!", your vote would have counted more, as well as helped him more.

I would say Purdue.

I started out a local community college and then transferred to a small private school near where I live.

PS

you really need a life if you come on the myg0t forums askign where you should go to college.

Purdue. Keep with the accounting major and don't listen to dumb fags that tell you to major in comp sci. There will always be accounting jobs and they pay well out of college.
Yeah but accounting sucks. Who the fuck wants to sit there and just work with numbers all day? I've taken accounting classes, I didn't like them. People in marketing can make just as much money, if not more.

the jobs are in computer science, and there's not enough of trained professionals getting into the field. there's so many people thinking business is the way to go, but in reality you've got a logjam of these types studying business to the point where when they leave uni with a spanking new degree, they'll find it hard to even find a job because of the million or so people who took business as well.

take comp sci.

Looks like you've had a lot of college experience!

This is also true with sociology, psychology, and any other arts & sciences major [although there are a lot of mad hot bitches studying psychology].

I agree. Marketing is fine too, but I know for a fact that being an accountant pays well and also has the option of getting your CPA later on, where you will make 100k afterwards at least.

Viatic, there are no fucking jobs in comp sci unless you are coming out of MIT or something, thats the why you hear about all these kids getting fucked after college because they are stuck with a degree and no experience. You watch too many lincoln tech commercials.
