February 20, 200520 yr usually you get booted by private parking security companies, not the police. An example is parking in a stores parking lot and walking away. the police aren't going to give a shit, but the store might have a hired service to boot or tow people's cars. I hate boots.

Exactly right. This is from the kids college which has a private security team. The kid owes them money in fines for parking tickets on the campus and because he has not paid them they booted his car to force him to pay before they will remove the boot. However as the pic shows, he owned them.
