Posted February 26, 200520 yr Hi guys! I was lately on a server playing css, and saw that one guy had his PING 1. i thought he was admin but curious enough he wasn't. I asked him how he could hav the ping 1 if he wasn't admin. He said something about typing something into the console, and as an result he got the ping 1. Of cource i wanted also the mark of a low ping. :D you can hav so much fun with it :D. "yo guys I'm sorry I am the admin you hav to leav right now... disconnected... ^^" Are there any so called "n00b" who can fix and tell me how to do this trick" TY --- Emile

February 26, 200520 yr it doesnt change ur ping, type ping in console it tell u real ping so if servers kick at a certain ping+ u still get kicked so really the cl_cmdrate does nothing i also heard that it can cause ur shots to not register

February 27, 200520 yr You fuckin idiots it is a command type cl_cmdrate 0 in the console and watch your bring drop to 1-5 *edit* what server was that, it was probably me, lol.
February 27, 200520 yr Just so you know if you open net graph and look at your ping cl_cmdrate does nothing except when used by multiple ppl makesd the server lag it is nothing more than a cosmetic ping used for making noobs feel inferiior.
February 27, 200520 yr its all in your rates CL_cmdrate 5 or something like that its the amount of commands you can send to the server per sec i think (forward, shoot, back, left,) and so on.. not a hack
