I dont know where this hatered comes from, maybe you were rejected or dumped by your girlfriend, get over it, life is tough.

I´m no feminist or anything (that picture actually made me smile a bit) but you sure hell are not going far(with women)with that kind of attitude.

...I feel sorry for your mothers

Hmmm...Rosaleguan...did it occur to you that MAYBE the guys here aren't quite so stupid as to believe that it is "equal" to require less of women than men in physical standard tests for jobs such as military placement, fire department employment, or police employment, yet women who can ONLY pass the "women's standards" of the physical tests for such employment command the same pay, and, outside the military, are required by law to be allowed into the same positions as men (and inside the military as well, so long as it's not in field combat MOS)?

Explain to me, if you can, how a woman who can only carry a 155 pound dummy down a 3 story ladder in a fireman's carry WITHOUT her firefighting gear on is "equally suited" for a job as a fireman as a man who has proven his ability to carry a 175 pound dummy UP AND down a 5 story ladder whil;e wearing his full gear, which adds another 115 pounds to the total weight (the standards as applied in New York municipal to men and women for fire department physical standards testing)....especially considering that your average man weighs 180+ according to census...Similarly for cops, the firearms qualifications for women are usually lower than that set for men, as well as the strength demonstrations required to prove "qualification for employment". All I can say is I'd hate to be a fireman OR cop partnered with a woman who didn't pass the tests by the minimum standards acceptable for men, at the very least.

Don't get me wrong...I'm all for equality...but I MEAN EQUALITY....if you can do the same job as the person you're working alongside or competing with for the position, then I could give a fuck less if you're male, female, straight, gay, black, white, mexican, or fucking Martian, you should be allowed to get the job. BUT, settign a percentage goal for employment of a minority, and then adjusting the requirements FOR that minority, because "most applicants belonging to this group CAN'T pass the standards tests", is NOT "equality"...it's "taking jobs away from qualified applicants to maintain a politically correct employment ratio", and it's hazardous to those actually qualified to hold the job, as well as detrimental to the quality of the work done.

If you're talking a paper-pushing job...then it doesn't matter if they can pass physical standards tests or not...so why should male applicants for an administrative MOS in the military have to pass the physical tests that an infantryman has to? But why should a woman have lower standards to demonstrate physically, to become a field medic, than a man? Especially considering that, as a field medic, she's just as likely as any male medic to have to bodily pick up and run with a 6'4", 200 pound unconcious infantryman with his gear on, under conditions where she can't stop to strip his gear off, and lessen his weight? Yet these are the standards differences in place.

Women protesting for equality in this country NEVER seem to take this shit into consideration...it's no wonder more and more men are getting pissed off about it, and reacting with anger.

Oddly, it's the same with other minorities. Or maybe it's not that odd. I went off, and busted my TV set not long ago, when Harvey Firestein (the fruit who played "aunt Jack" in Mrs Doubtfire) gave an interview stating "there will be no gay heroes in this war...there will be white heroes, black heroes, hispanic heroes, female heroes...but no GAY heroes", in reference to Iraqi Freedom....My reaction was to get so pissed off that I threw a coke bottle at the TV, busting the screen.

I got pissed because he was complaining that a queer wouldn't be recognized as a queer while being recognized as a hero...MY stance is that it's wrong to make a "black" hero out of a black man who did something heroic in the military...or any other minority...Is a man who dives back into a burning car to save a child less a hero than a woman who does it? NO, either oen is being heroic...who cares what sex they are? Is a straight guy less a hero if he dives into freezing cold water to save a drowning child than a gay guy would be? FUCK NO. Is a black guy more a hero for singlehandedly rushing a machine gun nest and taking it out, to save his squad, than a white or hispanic guy would be? HELL NO. A hero is a hero, and minority groups they may or may not belong to have NOTHING to do with how heroic their actions were, so making an issue out of such distinctions is BULLSHIT.

YES! PsychoBud is back, let the google pwnage begin! seriously though, his posts are the best and most entertaining to read.

Werd.

I don't know where your homosexuality comes from.

Plz follow the kind advice given at the bottom of my sig kthnx

hehehe, nah I´ll pass. :P

I dont know how that has anything to do with this. Don´t expect that everyone you talk to in a forum is a guy.

PsychoBud, well I was mainly refering to the comments some one made here. I don´t know what problems you have there in your country, but you sure have got a point there.

Sweden has them too, hon...women have lower physical standards for military service than men, get equal pay for same rank and time in grade, regardless of job specialization, and can get a job in the Swede military that a man would be disqualified for if he could only pass the the physical qualifications tests she is expected to.

My point about military field medics is valid in Sweden, and also applies to your ski patrol, mountain rescue, and emergency services employment, as well. I don't know if it also applies to your law enforcement positions and fire departments, or not.

Well said PsychoBud.

The same goes for affirmative action. How insulting to any minority to be "given" special lower standards just so they can have a "fair" chance.

Funny how they don't seem to see the insult in it, and keep bitching publicly about how, even with the relaxed standards for their group, they aren't getting enough "qualified" applicants, isn't it?

If they weren't so retarded to begin with as to believe that relaxing the standards for their particular group was a valid solution, I'd be suprised to see so many special interest groups publicly admitting how much inferior to your average white middle class male they percieve THEMSELVES to be.
